Our Story

Founded by Bruce Vanderwerff, a seasoned veteran of the restaurant industry, and now joined by his son Josh, Zion Pizza & Noodle Co. is a true labor of love that combines years of expertise and a passion for great food.

Bruce's journey in the restaurant business began in 1958 at Finns Restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the years, he has founded, owned, and operated a number of successful restaurants. As a professional chef with training at La Varenne, Paris – Bruce's culinary prowess has contributed to the creation of over 30 area restaurants. It is this wealth of experience and dedication that he brings to the heart of Zion Canyon with Zion Pizza & Noodle.

Following in his father's footsteps, Josh has been immersed in the restaurant business since 1985. With a deep understanding of the industry, he is not only an owner but also an operator of this family business.
